Respect

How do you define respect?
I would define respect as something that is going unseen these days. Respect is probably one of the most important things to and individual. Respect can be defined as a way you treat people or don't treat people. Everyone says respect someone else as you would want to be respected.

Respect in the class room is a different type of respect, I think respect in the class room is obeying the teacher and understanding that their job is to educate you and that teachers are there because they want to improve the quality of your life. As students you have to understand that teachers are there to help, so in that case respect them and sit quietly and listen and help the teacher out by doing that they say and abided by the teachers rules.

Students have 2 choices, 1 to respect the teacher in the right way and in return the teacher is willing to work with you and maybe go a few extra steps out of there way to help you out if you are struggling or you want to educate your self further. Or 2 don't respect the teacher and don't listen to what they have to say. With option 2 why would a teacher go out of there way for someone that causes them trouble and valuable time with the students that would like to learn.

I think respect is first established by the teacher on the first day of class. Let the students understand you are there to teach them and that you would like to be respected in a fair manner and in return they will respect the students and help them in there needs. In a classroom environment respect is important it comes down to how you run or even how you set up your classroom. Respect comes down to how you conduct your classroom and how you respect your students.
